Tracy - owner/cat sitter

Our owner, Tracy Ginnane, has been an avid cat lover from a young age. Her interest and love of cats has only grown as she got older. In May of 2000, she became a volunteer at the Erie County SPCA in the cat room, where she still volunteers to this day!  Through her experience there and working with the Advocats, who work with the stressed, nervous and shy cats, she has gained a wealth of knowledge that has helped her better understand our feline friends. Her first love and passion has always been animals which fueled her desire to work with animals. She had the good fortune of being hired by a pet sitting company and that opened the door for the opportunity she’s been waiting for! Her clients they gave her great reviews and saw that their cats trusted her. She gained several repeat clients. She also became certified in Pet CPR & First Aid. When that opportunity with the company ended abruptly, she realized another opportunity had presented itself. Not wanting to give up on her dream of working with animals, she decided to start her own company and that’s when Tracy’s Kitty Care was born! Tracy wanted to create a company that always put their clients and their pets first. She believes in treating her clients the way she would want to be treated and, treating their pets as if they were her own. Tracy also believes in open and honest communication to ensure that her clients’ pets are properly cared for. She believes there’s no other way than that to run a company!

Tracy has been a cat owner since she was ten years old. Her first cat passed away at the age of 10 and her name was Mittens. Her second and third cats are pictured. The cat on the top is Toby. He passed away in October of 2016 at the age of 14 due to illness. He is Tracy’s inspiration and driving force, hence the orange cat in the logo! The cat below is Oreo. She is still alive and doing well!
